Event Cost Support
Community Sport and Active Recreation organisations that have been impacted by the July lockdown in Victoria can now apply for a funding lifeline courtesy of the Victorian Government’s Sporting Club Grants Program.
Grants of $2,000 are available to go towards irrecoverable costs due to cancelled events including cancellation fees for facilities, coaches and officials, as well as loss of perishable goods and booking fees.
Organisations are eligible to apply regardless of whether they received funding in the previous round.
This funding is only available to organisations that are not eligible to seek funding support from the Business Costs Assistance Program
Please review the program guidelines for more details and eligibility requirements.
Applications close 5pm, 13 August 2021.
Aboriginal Sport Participation Grants
The Aboriginal Sport Participation Grant Program contributes to the Victorian Government’s sport and active recreation policy priorities and provides a single-entry point for Aboriginal Victorians to access funding that will assist in addressing a range of barriers to community sport participation right across the state.
Grants are available to assist Aboriginal Victorians to participate in Aboriginal sporting carnivals, buy sports uniforms and equipment, as well as funding for travel and accommodation expenses for athletes to compete in state and national competitions.
Applications for funding are now open until 5:00 pm Wednesday, 4 August 2021.
Get Active Kids Vouchers
Round 2 of the Get Active Kids Voucher Program is now open and closes next Friday 30 July!

Special consideration also applies for children named on their own valid Health Care Card or residing in Care Services. Additionally, temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants and international students may also be eligible to apply.
In Round 2, applicants can claim eligible expenses incurred between 1 January 2021 and 30 July 2021. Applications close at 5pm on Friday 30 July 2021.
