David Berry – Executive Officer

About David:
David is a passionate Collingwood supporter and has been the president of Volleyball Horsham for 25 years. He is married to Joanne and has two adult boys Matthew and Nathan. David has been in the executive officer’s role now for ten years this August after a successful 10 year career at 3WM where he was the sports journalist/account executive. David enjoys watching movies, listening to music and attending concerts involving iconic artists and David’s big goal for 2018 is coaching the Phantoms Volleyball Club’s women’s team as the step into the premier competition in State League for the first time.

Nic Baird – Access All Abilities Manager

About Nic:
Nic graduated from Federation University with a Bachelor Degree in Sports Management and Business. Previously Nic was employed by Cricket Australia working with their junior development programs and working at the WRSA as the Project Coordinator for 8 months before moving into the Access All Abilities Manager role. Interests of Nic include AFL where he supports the Adelaide Crows, Cricket and Basketball.

Matthew Jolly – Regional Sport Program Manager

About Matthew:
Matthew completed a three year Bachelor of Commerce degree with majors in Sports Management and Marketing at Deakin University, Burwood. Matthew spent five and a half years working with Victorian Synchronized Swimming in a Sports Development Officer role with responsibility for competition management, grant management and membership services. Matthew is now the Regional Sports Program Manager at the Sports Assembly promoting physical activity and water as the beverage of choice. His passion outside of work is the Collingwood Football Club who he endeavours to follow around the country and support.

Increasing participation in physical activity within the community particularly those who are inactive or somewhat inactive, focusing on:

Rebecca McIntyre – Project Coordinator

About Rebecca:
Rebecca joins the WRSA as the Project Coordinator after running her own business for the past six years. Rebecca enjoys still participating in Basketball and Netball herself being a part of the Horsham Lady Hornets and Laharum Football and Netball club. She also enjoys watching her daughter Izabella play golf, netball and basketball. She is involved in coaching juniors in those sports and is passionate about giving back to the community.
