The Office for Women in Sport and Recreation (OWSR) is thrilled to be embarking on the Fair Access Policy Roadshow in 2023.
Launched by the Minister for Community Sport in 2022, Victoria’s Fair Access Policy Roadmap is an Australian-first, aiming to develop a state-wide foundation to improve the access to, and use of, community sports infrastructure for women and girls.
As part of the Education Phase of the Roadmap, the Roadshow will see the Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly working alongside OWSR and our Member Regional Sport Victoria to deliver a workshop on Thursday March 16 at 9:45am.
The full-day workshop will focus on building the capacity and confidence of each local government in their locally relevant approach to the Roadmap, ensuring that no one is left behind on the Fair Access journey.
