Community Grants Available Now

28 Sep Community Grants Available Now

Applications are now open for the fourth round of the Community Sport Sector COVID-19 Survival Package.

In this round, clubs can apply for $1,500 and associations and leagues can apply for $2,500. Funding can be used for ongoing fixed costs, essential salary costs and any other costs that keep organisations viable and to purchase equipment and cleaning supplies necessary to function in a COVIDSafe manner once restrictions ease.

Who can apply?

Community sport and active recreation organisations operating within Victoria that have not received funding from this program in any of the first three rounds can apply. This includes not-for-profit and for-profit associations, leagues and clubs that meet all the eligibility criteria. For more details on eligibility please read the program guidelines.

Applications will close at 5pm, 29 October 2021 (or until all available funding has been exhausted).

Top-up payments

Grant recipients from the first three rounds will be considered for an automatic top-up payment and
do not need to submit a new application. Top-up grants of $2,500 are available for associations and leagues and $1,500 for clubs.

Sport and Recreation Victoria will email organisations that are eligible for a top-up payment by the end of October 2021. To check if your organisation has previously received a grant, visit the Sport and Recreation Victoria website.

The Change Our Game Scholarship Grants Program provides funding for women to access professional learning and development opportunities that enhance skills in sport and recreation leadership and management.

Women working or volunteering in sport and active recreation in Victoria are eligible for funding, but must be nominated by recognised state sporting association, state sport and active recreation body, local government authority or regional sports assembly.

Applications to Round 1 of the 2021-22 program open on Tuesday 28 September and close at 5pm, Monday 25 October 2021.
