18 Apr Share your vision – shape the future of Victoria’s infrastructure
What comes to mind when you think of infrastructure? It’s not just about transport. From open space, to roads, energy, schools and hospitals, our infrastructure impacts how we connect and experience Victoria.
Infrastructure Victoria is updating the state’s 30-year infrastructure strategy and if you’re aged between 15 – 25 and live in Victoria, you can have your say on how we will all live, work and socialise in the future. Infrastructure Victoria is hosting a Young People’s Forum to answer the question: What matters most to Victorians and how can infrastructure help achieve it?
How will the Young People’s Forum impact the future strategy?
Shaping infrastructure priorities affects every part of our lives – from how we get to school, uni and work, to where we live and engage with the natural world around us.
We want to know about the challenges you think we should focus on, how you want to live now and in the future. This will help us to make the most of our resources, improve social equity and be more adaptable in a rapidly changing world.
This is your chance to influence Victoria’s future.
What is the 30-year infrastructure strategy?
Victoria’s 30-year infrastructure strategy provides recommendations to the Victorian Government and Parliament on how to get the best use from the state’s existing infrastructure and deliver new infrastructure where it is needed most.
