19 May Child Safe Standards Workshops
The Victorian Child Safety Standards now apply to all Sporting Organisations that operate and provide sporting services to children within Victoria. As such sports and sporting clubs are now required to comply with the legislation and should be taking responsible steps to do so.
The Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly are offering free Child Safety Standards Workshops. There will be one workshop held in five locations across the Wimmera in Horsham, Stawell, Nhill, Warracknabeal and Edenhope.
