The Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly (WRSA) has relaunched its membership program with a bold commitment: free membership for every sporting and active recreation club across the Wimmera, regardless of size, sport, or structure.
WRSA Executive Officer Tony Caccaviello said the refreshed membership offering is designed to reduce barriers and provide real support where clubs need it most.
“From netball to darts, football to fitness groups – if you’re involved in sport or active recreation in the Wimmera, WRSA membership is for you,” Mr Caccaviello said.“We’re here to help behind the scenes – whether that’s grant advice, governance support, or driving community participation.”
What’s included in WRSA Membership?

3 hours of one-on-one support for things like grant planning, child safety policies, or constitution updates

A co-hosted Come & Try Day or Clinic to boost local participation

Membership is completely free. Clubs only need to update their contact details once a year to maintain membership.
“We want to make it easy for clubs to get the support they deserve,” Mr Caccaviello said. “This is about building stronger clubs, together.”
