The Wimmera Sports Foundation has been helping local athletes and coaches overcome the financial barriers of elite sport since 1983—providing funding for travel, training, and competition expenses.
With over $60,000 distributed to date, the Foundation exists to ensure that distance and cost don’t limit potential. But despite its impact, many in the community still don’t know this support is available.
We’re here to change that.
What’s Available?
Eligible applicants can access:
- Up to $1,000 through the Wimmera Sports Foundation
- Up to $500 through the Access All Abilities Sports Foundation
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:
- Be aged 12+
- Live in the Wimmera region
- Be an active member of a local WRSA-affiliated club
- Demonstrate talent and commitment in their sport
Applications are open year-round and reviewed on merit.
