We are thrilled to endorse the official launch of Regional Sport Victoria’s (RSV) new Strategic Plan, marking an exciting new chapter for the future of regional sport in Victoria.
This strategic plan is the result of extensive consultation with member RSAs (Regional Sport Assemblies), State Sporting Associations (SSAs), and various stakeholders across the sector. The input we received has been instrumental in shaping a plan that focuses on enhancing regional sport’s governance, inclusivity, and sustainability.
What’s Next for RSV?
Now that the plan is officially launched, RSV is focused on activating and implementing the strategy with the sector. Our priority is to continue fostering collaboration, building capacity within the RSAs and creating more opportunities for community sport participation across Victoria.
RSV is also seeking funding opportunities to help realise the full potential of the Strategic Plan. We believe that with the right support, the plan will create lasting, positive change in regional communities by enhancing the accessibility and inclusivity of sport and active recreation.
