Our congratulations go to 2025 Wimmera Sports Star of the Year Josh Barry from the Warracknabeal Bowls Club on his silver medal at the recent lawn bowls Australian Open.

Josh won 6 straight matches before the final of the Physical Disability Open Men’s Singles event played on the Gold Coast.

It’s another impressive achievement to add to other national achievements that include:

2024 Australian Para Nationals – gold – open pairs
2024 Australian Open – Silver – Multi-Disability Open Pairs
2023 Australian Para Nationals – Silver – 14-point pairs
2022 Australian Multi-Disability Championships – Gold – Open Triples
