Kelly Sports Horsham commits to 40th Wimmera Sports Star Gala as Silver Partner – the partnership highlights inclusive participation, confidence-building and pathways for young people in regional sport.
The Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly (WRSA) warmly acknowledges Kelly Sports Horsham as a Silver Partner for the 40th Anniversary Wimmera Sports Star of the Year Awards, scheduled for Friday 13 February 2026 at Horsham Town Hall.
Kelly Sports Horsham is the local arm of the Kelly Sports network, delivering school and holiday programmes, after-school clinics and children’s multi-sport activities. The organisation focuses on fun, skill development and confidence-building for young people.
By joining as a partner of the awards night, Kelly Sports Horsham is helping us highlight the next generation of athletes and volunteers in the Wimmera. Their work right here in our region aligns perfectly with the spirit of the Awards. Kelly Sports Horsham is helping create real entry points for young people in our region, they’re opening doors for kids who might not otherwise find a way into organised sport. That commitment to participation and belonging is exactly what the Wimmera Sports Star Awards aims to celebrate in this 40th year.
Kelly Sports Horsham’s work in structured clinics and community sport offerings complements WRSA’s goals around inclusion, junior development and keeping sport accessible to all families in the Wimmera. Participation at the entry level, the very first positive experience a child has with sport, is often what leads to lifelong involvement in local clubs. Kelly Sports Horsham’s support will assist the event in recognising athletes, volunteers, and community sport leaders across more than 220 clubs throughout the Wimmera.
From Horsham to Kaniva and Hopetoun to Stawell, these awards highlight what makes regional sport unique: teamwork, persistence and belonging. Behind every medal or milestone is a network of volunteers, parents and supporters who keep the spirit of community sport alive. This year’s Gala invites new Partners to be part of that legacy and help ensure the next generation enjoys the same opportunities to play, connect and achieve.
