Bronze for Peter Smith at World Championships

Congratulations to Pete Smith who claimed a bronze medal in the Over 35 World Waterski Championships in Calgary, Canada!
Pete competed in O65 slalom, jump and trick skiing events. His jump of 24.5m in the final earned him third place in the Jump event.
Pete’s participation in the world championships was supported by the Wimmera Sports Foundation. The Wimmera Sports Foundation exists to break down financial barriers for talented local athletes and coaches, ensuring opportunities are based on potential and passion, not postcode.
Support is available year-round for those aiming to reach the next level in their sport.
